Cisco Bug: CSCuq79306 - Read Table from Text needs to automatically check source columns
Dec 12, 2014
- Cisco Process Orchestrator
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Read table activity needs to be intelligent enough to read the number of columns in the source text and map it to the target columns and handle errors in this mapping process. In many of the processes we assume the source and target column match exactly and due to slight changes in the source columns/no of columns (customer enhancements/installation differences at customer site), the Read table activity errors out as it doesn't expect as many columns in the source. The activity needs to be made more robust when it doesnt find a source column to map with the target, it should leave it empty and not fail the activity. Conditions: Using Read Table activity where the source columns change without warning.
