Cisco Bug: CSCuq64179 - Voice Enabled Directory Handler allows transfer to unknown extension

Last Modified

May 05, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unity Connection

Known Affected Releases

10.5(1.10) 9.1(2.1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Callers are able to say any extension and get transferred (if the restriction table permits) when using a Voice enabled Directory Handler. This permits
calls that
might not be permitted.

Ideally a Directory Handler should only transfer calls to users in the Directory.

Conditions:
Flag "Allow users to use voice recognition" must enabled in COS and another flag "voice enabled" inside the directory handler also should be enabled on the unity connection.
