Cisco Bug: CSCuq62861 - CUIC 9.0, browser IE9.0+ does not reflect loss of connectivity to server

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Run an Historical or RealTime  CUIC report, then shut down connection to the Server.  The IE (v9.0+)  browser will not reflect the loss of connectivity.  The page will continue to show the message 
"Checking report execution progress...."  
 

Run the same test FireFox 24.0 (or greater) , and again take the CUIC server offline. The FF browser will quickly reflect there has been a loss of connectivity with a red message: 
"Last refresh times out(reportRefreshRetry). Please wait for next automatic refresh or click 'Refresh'. Please contact Cisco support if problem"

The IE browser page should display an error indicating there is a loss of connectivity.
