Cisco Bug: CSCuq61222 - Disabled service-node might still reconnect to appnav-controller

Last Modified

  • Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) Appliances

Known Affected Releases

5.1(1f) 5.3(5b)

Description (partial)

A disabled service-node (SN) can still connect or remain connected to a appnac-controller (ANC) if the central manager cannot push the command to the SN.

There are no systems on the ANC to prevent a disabled SN to connect.

So a disabled SN might still be participating in a service-node-group and might still handle traffic.

This happens if the CM cannot push a command to the SN.
