Symptom: Jabber Windows erroneously reports that it is at the most recent version of Cisco Jabber if the App name tag in the jabber-update.xml is not exactly "JabberWin" Jabber logs show "Build number: -1" if JabberWin syntax is wrong. 2014-08-27 17:17:10,203 DEBUG [0x00000cbc] [erupgradeplugin\UpgradesListener.cpp(29)] [plugin-runtime] [OnUpdateChecked] - Received update information. Version number: 10.5.0 Build number: 10 Download link: http://10.201.216.196/uc-update/CiscoJabberSetup-10.5.msi Upgrade rule: UpgradeAvailable: 1 UpgradeMandatory: 0 Jabber fails to get the Build Number if JabberWin syntax is not exact and will report that it is up to date no matter what version is actually set in the jabber-update.xml file. Conditions: Jabber for Windows 9.x and 10.x Automatic Update configuration in jabber-config.xml and an update server configured with jabber-update.xml
