Last Modified

Sep 21, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Attendant Consoles

Known Affected Releases

10.5

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Current CUAC-Standard documentation does not explicitly stated the mandatory user permissions for the various program repositories:
* \\Program Files\Cisco\Cisco Unified Attendant Console Standard (core application - dlls, etc.)
* \\Users\'windows user name'\AppData\Roaming\CUACSLayout (default and custom layout details - .xml files)
* \\Users\'windows user name'\AppData\Roaming\CUACSLogging (default log file location)
* \\ProgramData\CUACS (Application database, licensing identity file)

The operator should have full permission on C:\ProgramData\CUACS to read, create files/folders, write attributes/extended attributes. The permissions for the others should be likewise noted within the installation instruction.

Conditions:
CUAC-Standard
