Cisco Bug: CSCuq53424 - REST API always returns bad signature for POSTs with option strings
Jun 16, 2015
- Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC)
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Using the REST API HTTP POST and GET methods to to an Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) may return "bad signature" in some situations. Conditions: This occurs if the POST or GET includes an option string, for example '?rsp-subtree=full' and the method of verifying the user is allowed access to that resource is by calculating a digital signature of the resource using a key stored in the users X509 certificate.
