Cisco Bug: CSCuq50539 - DNS caches glue records in mem-cache causing inconsistent behavior
Dec 16, 2016
- Cisco Network Registrar
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If the DNS server is configured with multiple sub zones of the same domain, it may respond with different delegation information immediately after the glue records are added, then it does after a server reload and/or a memory cache flush. Conditions: The delegation information and glue information are in the parent zone, but another zone in the same domain has a delegation that is a closer match, but no glue records.
