Known Affected Releases

10.02 10.10

Description (partial)

Symptom:
SyncLoss Alarm is reported on the 10G Trunk port of GEXP-E card, even when traffic is flowing through the port properly. the SyncLoss Alarm is wrongly reported

Conditions:
The exact conditions under which the problem happens, is not known. The wrong SyncLoss Alarm was observed only in some GEXP-E cards with 10G trunk ports. VLAN circuits are configured through the client and trunk ports. Same provisioning, setup and topology on other nodes did not show the problem.

The problem is under analysis and the OTN Framer HW is raising the SyncLoss Alarm even when the traffic through the port is fine.
