Cisco Bug: CSCuq45483 - Few VRF routes not programmed in DFCs in a SUP2T VSS w/C6800-32P10G-XL

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

15.2(1)IC273.147 15.2(1)IC273.292

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Traffic may be lost on some LISP hosts after a large number are migrated from one switch module to another.

Conditions:
A standby RP may show the host as having an "Owned" subtree context in its "show ip cef <host address> internal" output, whereas it would show as "Inherited" in the active RP output of the same command. This suggests that this behaviour may only happen if the hosts at some point have a configuration on the RP before or after the migration starts, that is removed during the migration.
