Description (partial)

Symptom:
Some Jabber for Mac users are reporting that chat messages are not displaying in the chat window, even though the messages appear briefly in the Jabber notification pop up window.

In addition, some users are reporting that the Jabber application can quit unexpectedly.

Conditions:
On rare occasions, the Jabber installation or upgrade did not complete correctly and some files are missing from the Jabber application package. This is causing the messages to not display correctly. 

Also, due to this issue, the Jabber application can occasionally quit unexpectedly when starting up.
