Symptom: Any Transport over MPLS (AToM) xconnects may fail to clear a dataplane fault state, and never successfully re-establishes the dataplane and instead just withdraws the label. This can be seen in the following debug output: Jun 5 18:57:03.829: AToM MGR [10.0.0.1, 1]: ....... PW status TLV NOT enabled and Jun 5 18:57:03.829: AToM MGR [10.0.0.1, 1]: ....... our local AC is DOWN=>withdraw label Jun 5 18:57:03.833: AToM MGR [10.0.0.1, 1]: . Not activating dataplane: VC in remote ready state on Active RP Conditions: This symptom has been observed when the remote peer does not support the pseudowire status TLV and does not readvertise its label when the faults are cleared.
