Cisco Bug: CSCuq42985 - ENH: Have the ability to expire certain configuration settings

Last Modified

Nov 12, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Email Security Appliance

Known Affected Releases

8.0.2-061 8.5.6-074

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Create the ability to expire certain configuration settings. based on a expiration date. An example would be added a particular domain to a SenderGroup for a specific reason (such as a poor SBRS) then have a specific date/time that that entry be removed from the SenderGroup. Also logging this within the logs to such a degree that research can be easy. This could also be carried over to filters (message and content) to facilitate a reversion back to normal behavior after a set date.

Conditions:
Applies to all Email Security Appliances in operation.
