Symptom: When configuring mDNS Static Services the system will not allow multiple Services with the same Hostname. For an Apple Time Capsule to work both the "_afpovertcp._tcp" and "_adisk._tcp" both need to be configure with the Time Capsule's Hostname, but we cannot. WLC-3850(config)# service-instance mdns-sd service ?stuff? regtype _adisk._tcp domain local WLC-3850(config-mdns-sd-si)# target-hostname stuff WLC-3850(config-mdns-sd-si)# exit WLC-3850(config)# service-instance mdns-sd service ?stuff? regtype _afpovertcp._tcp domain local WLC-3850(config-mdns-sd-si)# target-hostname stuff Hostname already in use. Please configure a different Hostname. Conditions: WLC: 5760, 3850, 3650 running 3.6 Trying to statically advertise any mDNS device that requires multiple service strings.
