Cisco Bug: CSCuq39761 - ASR5k stops forwarding traffic after failing over LAG links

Last Modified

Dec 25, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 5000 Series

Known Affected Releases

16.0(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
ASR5000 stops forwarding traffic over the LAG links configured for Si interface. When ping was performed the counters were seen incrementing for Sn interface (a different LAG group) instead of Si interface.

Conditions:
Issue is seen after the node (connected via the LAG links) failures are triggered leading to LAG break and make. There seems to be some issue with the MPLS route in the vrf SVN0005 after the node failures.
