Description (partial)

Unable to redistribute static null route configured on a ASA over EIGRP to the neighbours.

Command : route null <subnet> <mask>

In ASA 9.2 software release the above command was introduced. This would be sending traffic to a Null0 interface and results in dropping the packets destined to the specified network. When static routes are redistributed to EIGRP, other static routes get redistributed but this static null route is not getting redistributed. ASA does not forward this route in the EIGRP updates.

ASA running software version 9.2 or above. EIGRP routing configured on ASA and static routes redistributed to EIGRP.
