Description (partial)

Symptom:
/var fills up on ACS 5.5 and hence causes instability in the system.
The system status shows up as Critical.

Conditions:
This is seen on ACS 5.5 because the log rotate function fails to perform as expected.
When you go to the /var directory and give the "lsof" command, you can see that the file ADE.1.log, which is Deleted is still occupying space, hence leading to the filling up of /var.
