Symptom: Incorrect link local ip address advertised by the ipv6 eBGP peer if BGP speaker shares a common subnet with the entity identified by the global IPv6 address carried in the Network Address of Next Hop field and the peer the route is being advertised to. Conditions: 1) BGP prefix is learnt from the same subnet and update be sent to the entity shares the same subnet 2) BGP link-local address of the next-hop is received on the update to the router.
