Description (partial)

Symptom:
CUPI REST API PUT to change the SMTP address in notificationdevices/smtpdevices fails with message:

Here's the request:

PUT https://<server>/vmrest/user/notificationdevices/smtpdevices/<smtp object id>

<SmtpDevice>
  <SmtpAddress>joe@this.that.the.other.com</SmtpAddress>
</SmtpDevice>

Here's the response:

      <message>Enter Vaild Relay Email Address</message>

Conditions:
It occurs when the email address given to replace the existing email address contains too many dots in the domain (after the @).  For example, joe@this.that.the.other.com
