Cisco Bug: CSCuq28146 - Misleading on simultaneous meeting license usage calculation

Last Modified

Sep 18, 2014

Products (1)

  • Cisco WebEx Meetings Server

Known Affected Releases

1.5 2.0.1.2

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Misleading on simultaneous meeting license usage calculation
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/1_5/Planning_Guide/Planning_Guide_chapter_01000.html

Conditions:
The planning guide states that:
"The total number of licenses consumed by a single individual is determined by the highest number of overlapping meetings hosted by that individual"

Actually, each simultaneous meeting consumes one more license. If user has one overlapping meeting on one day and two overlapping meetings on the second day in the same month, there will be 4 licenses consumed -- one for the host plus three licenses for each overlapping meeting.

Previous statement should be changed to something like:
"The total number of licenses consumed by a single individual is determined by the sum of all overlapping meetings hosted by that individual"
