Symptom: The following errors may be seen on a cat4500 switch. C4K_SWITCHINGENGINEMAN-4-IPPTMMINTERRUPTREFCNTMEMERR: IPP TMM refCntMemErr interrupt. There are also incrementing XppTmmRefCntMemErr errors. ------------------ show platform hardware interrupts ------------------ IPP TMM XppTmmRefCntMemErr: 6 Conditions: This issue is generally seen when SPAN or PIM is enabled on vlans which are mapped to many physical interfaces. If the XppTmmRefCntMemErr error count reaches 100, the supervisor will crash.
