Symptom:
Details:
When a device is put in Out of Service mode, the device description
in CUCM disappears. It remains empty when the device is set back to In
Service. Device description is VOSS looks fine.



Steps to Reproduce:
1. Register a device and populate the device description field.
2. Check device description in CUCM, see it is populated correctly.
3. Set the phone to Out of Service.
4. Check device description in VOSS – it is populated
5. Check device description in CUCM – it is empty.
6. Update the device in VOSS to In Service
7. Check device description in VOSS – it is populated
8. Check device description in CUCM – it is empty.
9. Modify device in VOSS
10. Check device description in CUCM – it is populated again

Actual Results:  
Device description is blank.

Expected Results:  
Device description should remain unchanged.
