Cisco Bug: CSCuq13375 - AnyConnect over Wifi is not roaming to 4G during sleep mode
Jul 21, 2016
- Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Apple`s implementation is that if iOS device is connected via wifi and then it goes into sleep mode, it switches to 4G unless phone power cable is connected. Accordingly we expect AnyConnect session is reconnected using 4G line while the device is in sleep. But what actually observed are - 1. AnyConnect reconnects as expected after the device goes to sleep and is moved out of the wifi range. 2. AnyConnect does not reconnect after the device goes to sleep and is kept staying within the wifi range. In case of the second scenario, Jabber is missing incoming calls over AnyConnect. Conditions: Observed with Jabber over AnyConnect setup.
