Cisco Bug: CSCuq11348 - Video Service misleading configuration paramater

Last Modified

Aug 10, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unity Connection

Known Affected Releases

10.0(1)ES1 10.5(1.10)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
On Unity Connection Administration page,

Video -> Video Services -> Add New

The Configuration parameter 'Video Service Account' is misleading. Video Service account is configured on a per user basis associating the user with the Video Service.

This should be 'Video Server API User Credentials' or 'Video Server API User Account'.

The Help file for this page has no information about this field. The configuration document does not talk about this field as well. Only the test button gives an indication the Video Server credentials have to be used.

Conditions:
Unity Connection 10.0(1) and 10.5
