Last Modified

Feb 09, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)

Known Affected Releases

10.1(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When configuring UCS Manager in HCM-F, the IPv4 Address field is optional, i.e., there is no * indicating this is a required field, and you will not be prohibited from saving the configuration with this field blank. (Usually if there is a required field not filled with data, you will not be allowed to save the configuration.)

However, if this field is left as blank, it will result in UCS Manager sync failure (error message indicates missing IP address)

Conditions:
HCM-F 10.1.1
