Cisco Bug: CSCuq09848 - SPOM: When appmgr deletes a group, switch does not unsubscribe

Last Modified

Sep 22, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switches

Known Affected Releases

7.0(1)N1(2)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When using "feature fabric access", the switch fails to re-subscribe to a room that has been destroyed and recreated. "show fabric access group device" indicates that the switch is currently subscribed to the room (group), but that status is stale since the switch failed to recognize that the room has been previously destroyed and recreated.

Conditions:
When using "feature fabric access", the switch fails to recognize that a room (group) has been destroyed. This leads to an issue when the same room is later re-created, the switch does not know to re-subscribe and hence leads to incorrect status and inconsistent results.
