Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

2.2(1b)A 2.2(3d)A

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When trying to SSH to the fabric interconnect, the session disconnects after putting in a username.

Conditions:
Issue seen on 6248UP FI's. While UCSM is still accessible, SSH access isn't operational. Core files for "sshd_log" are generated. The SSH logins are terminating due to reverse DNS lookup failures, this is resulting in SSHD core. This could be due to the client subnet is not part of DNS server. The logins were working fine when tried from MAC OS system, and was failing when we try to access from a VM on MAC OS.
