Cisco Bug: CSCuq09577 - 61xx FI scale: UCSM logfiles fillup bootflash filesystem
Jan 26, 2016
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: On a 6100 large scale rack server (with 160 servers) setup, the system (DME) became unresponsive due to no more space left for the UCSM logs. Conditions: On a 6100 fabric interconnect setup with large number of rack servers (e.g, 160 rack servers), when insufficient FEX/IOM uplinks are configured, vNIC placement in service profile configuration process will fail. This may result in the system log file (svc_sam_dme.log) being filled up with error messages in very short period of time (< 30 seconds). This problem doesn't apply to 6200 setup.
