Description (partial)

When a Job Definition's File Dependency is edited the "Agent Name" field defaults (pre-populated & grayed-out) to the Job Agent or Agent List, not the file host Agent, even when "Inherit Agent From Job" is de-selected. "Inherit Agent From Job" must be selected and then de-selected in order for the user to select the proper Agent in the "Agent Name" field. When you return to the File Dependency edit dialog the "Agent Name" field has reset itself to the original (pre-populated & grayed-out) the Job Agent or Agent List.

1) Create an Agent List "AL_1" (any type)
2) Create a Job "J_1"
3) Configure Job "J_1" to use Agent List "AL_1"
4) Create a File Dependency for Job "J_1" with a File Name located on a separate host running an Agent
5) Note the "Agent Name" field is pre-populated with the Job's Agent List "AL_1", and the field is non-selectable.
6) Note the "Inherit Agent From Job" checkbox must be selected and then de-selected in order to select a different Agent in the "Agent Name" dropdown
7) Select the Agent on the host where the file is located
8) Click OK
9) Select newly created File Dependency and click Edit
10) Note the Agent Name field has reset
