Known Affected Releases

2.0(1.0)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
We see clients in probing state on 2.4 GHz on WLC but in probing state only on "a" radio on following Prime page: (monitor >>> clients and users >> Client detected by MSE).

None of the clients shows up in probing state on "b/g" radio.

Reason: When clients are in probing state, we don't have details on the protocol and by default they are shown to be on 5Ghz channel. Once they are associated, we receive INFO messages from the controller which has details on the protocol and the channel. But when they're probing with Measurement messages, we do not have this information and default it to 5Ghz.

Conditions:
NA
