Description (partial)
Symptom: The drop rate counters in the grandparent class and parent class are different figures as compared with the drop rate counter in the child class and the drop rate in show interface. The counter fluctuated continuously between 1,100,000 bps and 1,900,000 bps on these version. But, 15.1(4)M8 and XE2.6.2 totally stayed constant as compared to the newer version. We generated a constant traffic(6.5Mbps) from IXIA.(Shaper rate 5Mbps) Conditions: -Environment Generate rate: 6.5Mbps from Gi0/0/1.70(connect to IXIA port 7) to Gi0/0/0.1990( connect to IXIA port 8). Packet size: 1340Byte Shaper rate: 5Mbps Drop rate: 1.5Mbps in the class-map class-default
