Description (partial)

Attempting to list or query a directory on the ASA compact flash that contains thousands of files may cause a very long CPU hog. This may significantly impact traffic and general functionality of the ASA firewall.

seen when attempting to enumerate the files in a directory present on the ASA's compact flash. In testing, the issue is observed once there is a significant numbers of files present (upwards of 1000+).
