Products (1)

  • Applications for Cisco Unified Application Environment

Known Affected Releases

9.8(1)P20

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Customer Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), Russia had experienced an issue after s20p20+ES installation.

The command 'numan-ed' is not working as described in product documentation:

MGC-1 mml> numan-ed:bdigtree:custgrpid="mgro",callside="originating",digitstring="9139173347",setname="rs-1006"

   MGC-02 - Media Gateway Controller 2014-07-15 19:45:30.896 NOVT
M
"bdigtree:Partial value must be YES or NO It is manadatory Param"
/* Status, Requested Operation Failed on the component */

MGC-1 mml> numan-ed:bdigtree:

custgrpid - Customer Group ID
callside - Call side
digitstring - Digit String
setname - Result Set Name
<cr>

It was checked: on 9.8(1)s19p19 and s17p19 it works according to documentation, but in s20p20 ? not.

it was found that the defect for 9.7(3) version - CSCti18077<https://cdetsng.cisco.com/webui/#view=CSCti18077>;[http://cdetsweb-prd.cisco.com/apps/files/xslt/help.png]<http://wwwin.cisco.com/ops/infra/pds/cbms/cdets/legend.shtml>; numan-ed not functioning since PARTIAL was added, where was found the next description:

Since PARTIAL was added to the "numan-ed/dlt":bdigtree/adigtree it is no longer possible to do a "numan-ed".

In order to make an edit to the a/bdigitree now first a numan-dlt followed by a numan-add is required.

But this defect was for 9.7(3) version.

In current scenario an automatic MML provisioning system is used in customer's network, and 'numan-ed' command is used as well.

Conditions:
'numan-ed' is not working on 9.8(1) S20P20
