Description (partial)
Symptom: The zone service crashes after zone related activity. The following type of syslog is logged: %SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "zone" (PID 5460) hasn't caught signal 11 (core will be saved). Due to these crashes, it may become impossible to issue regular commands such as: show running-config show tech Conditions: This issue only occurs if a zone member is configured by ip-address and only occurs on MDS 9700 switches and Nexus 7000 family switches.
