Description (partial)

SNMP Query probe using switch MIB polling fails to add new endpoints connected to Catalyst switch even though they appear in the MAC address and ARP tables of the switch. SNMP Queries triggered to switch interface MIBs based on SNMP Trap or RADIUS triggers work as expected, but if devices continuously connected without triggering Trap or RADIUS probes, endpoints may never be discovered.

1. Disable all probes except SNMP Query.
2. Enable SNMP polling on the switch to allow ISE PSN access.
3. Configure switch and under the Network Access Device configuration in ISE for SNMP polling.
4. Delete endpoint connected to switch from ISE.
5. Change the polling interval in ISE for the switch to 10 minutes.
6. Endpoint never added to ISE endpoint database even though polling does occur on scheduled interval.

Results may vary based on the specific endpoint for which SNMP Query fails and the order of the endpoints being processed.
