Description (partial)

Symptom:
MSSQL Replicaton Snapshot job gets error Message: The step is improperly defined and so could not be run.  The step failed.  -  This error is received if you copy the information from a SQL job or import job option in the MSSQL Job Definition.

Recreated inhouse
Step to recreate
1) Created a MSSQL job Definition
Job Type- Database Job
Category Repl-Snapshot
Added job step ---
Step name Runagent

The 
Type - Replication Snapshot
Run as SQL Agent Service Account
Command
-Publisher [KKUCHYNK-WS] -PublisherDB [Admiral] -Distributor [KKUCHYNK-WS] -Publication [KenMan] -DistributorSecurityMode 1

Parameter tab is blank
Advance tab
On Sucess action -Quit the job reporting sucess
Retry attremps -10  Retry Intervals(minutes)-1
on Failutre action - Goto the next step

Have also tryied using the import option at the bottom of job definition
both times get ---The step is improperly defined and so could not be run.  The step failed.

If i go to mssql  jobs and use my job from there it runs.  Valid in creating the job in tidal to match configuration of job in MSSQ jobs.
Customer is seeing same issue.
