Cisco Bug: CSCup92741 - Unity Connection Reflected Cross Site Scripting

Last Modified

Jun 30, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unity Connection

Known Affected Releases

9.1(1.10)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Cisco Unity Connection contains several vulnerabilities within the Administrative Web interface that could allow an unauthenticated, remote
attacker to preform cross-site scripting attacks. The vulnerability is due to a failure to properly validate user-supplied input prior to being
used to generate an HTML response.

Conditions:
An attacker that can convince an authenticated user to follow a malicious link could exploit the vulnerability to execute arbitrary HTML or
script code on an affected users browser within the context of the affected site. This could result in the modification of the rendered page or
the theft of potentially sensitive data.
