Last Modified

Sep 17, 2019

Products (1)

  • Cisco IOS

Known Affected Releases

15.4(2.20)T

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Call Flow: Only happens if Telco --- PRI --- GW --- SIP --- CUCM --- SCCP Phone
** Issue doesnt happen if H323 in the call flow

1. ISDN PRI receiving ISDN Facility-IE with Information "Following (calling_name) Name information in subsequent FACILITY message"
2. SIP Invite is built with Remote-Party-ID: "pending" and send to CUCM
3. Call is connected and pending name display
3. IP Phone display shows "Pending" when connected to the PSTN phone

++ Adding the command "timers buffer-invite", the gateway waits for the FACILITY message then sends the calling name within the FROM or Remote-Party-ID using SIP INVITE and now caller-ID is displayed correctly when the call is connected with PSTN

Conditions:
ISDN PRI to SIP only
