Description (partial)

On Nexus 7000, applying port-profiles on interfaces will have inconsistent outputs in the 'running-config'.

For example, missing 'switchport' and 'switchport mode trunk'.

You can verify that the configuration actually applied by running a 'show interface eth x/x' and 'show interface ethx/x trunk'.

All Nexus 7000 versions up to 6.2(8a).
Apply a port-profile on an interface (Ethernet or port-channel)
