Cisco Bug: CSCup64515 - Meeting Analyzer extremely slow when connecting to office365

Last Modified

Products (1)

  • Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS)

Known Affected Releases

TMSXE4.0.1

Description (partial)

Symptom:

The Cisco TMSXE meeting Analyzer (MA) is extremely slow when connecting to Office 365 (Exchange Online) environments, and CAS autodiscovery takes about five minutes per resource mailbox.

Example debug log entries:

2014-06-25 17:23:32,240 [4] DEBUG AutodiscoverCallBack - CAS Redirection to
https://mail.example.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml for
tmslab_cloud_room2@example.org
2014-06-25 17:23:32,318 [6] DEBUG AutodiscoverCallBack - CAS Redirection to
https://mail.example.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml for
tmslab_cloud_room3@example.org
2014-06-25 17:23:34,830 [4] DEBUG AutodiscoverCallBack - CAS Redirection to
https://mail.example.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml for
tmslab_cloud_room2@example.org
2014-06-25 17:23:34,893 [6] DEBUG AutodiscoverCallBack - CAS Redirection to
https://mail.example.org/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml for
tmslab_cloud_room3@example.org
[... Continues for five minutes for each resource mailbox ...]

Conditions:

The issue is likely to apply to all Office 365 (Exchange Online) environments. It gets worse if Resource Mailbox Impersonation is *not* enabled, the five minute delay is then applied to every single resource mailbox. If Resource Mailbox Impersonation is enabled, the five minute delay is only applied to the TMSXE service user.
