Description (partial)
Symptom: A vulnerability in the Autonomic Networking Infrastructure (ANI) code of Cisco IOS could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to form an adjacency with itself. The vulnerability is due to insufficient data validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted AN message. An exploit could allow an attacker to add invalid device entries or to cause an adjacency to be formed with another devices, these entries look to the system and an administrator like an adjacency with the local device. Conditions: Device running Autonomic Networking Infrastructure.
