Known Affected Releases

10.0(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
There is no grace period of 180 days under mixed UC application versions with a PLM when the service provider performs HCS versions upgrade from HCS 9.x to HCS 10.0(1). The note should be revised or deleted.

There is a 'typical 60-day'(*) grace period when licenses are in the non-compliant state for UC applications. Non-compliance occurs in the following situations:

  - There are an insufficient number of licenses, or;
  - There has not been a successful synchronization with the PLM

(*) Some CUCM 10.0 versions have a 180-day period and not 60-day due to a known defect.

Eventually, the note should be revised either"
- delete the note, 180 days limitation which is not true
- add comments what 180 days mean for CUCM10.0, what the defect is
  and, add non-compliant state just for general information with the 60-day period

Conditions:
A PLM can support both 10.x and 9.x UC applications at the same time. There is no such grace period to require that the service provider should upgrade version license to 10.x beacause of the mixed UC versions.
