Description (partial)
Symptom: A vulnerability in the Cisco WebEx client could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger a heap-based buffer overflow on the Cisco WebEx client in another user's computer. This could result on remote code execution or a denial of service (by crashing the remote Cisco WebEx client software). This vulnerability is due to the lack of bounds checking on the data being transferred. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by using a modified Cisco WebEx client. Conditions: In order to exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need to share a file using the Cisco WebEx client. When another Cisco WebEx client tries to download the file, the attacker would then provide malformed data in order to trigger the heap-based buffer overflow.
