Cisco Bug: CSCup52740 - BGP ASBR - no local label assigned for vpnv4 when global VRF missing

Last Modified

Jan 06, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Carrier Routing System

Known Affected Releases

4.2.3.BASE 4.2.3.ROUT

Description (partial)

Symptom:
ASBR router received vpnv4 prefix from peer device, but do not assign local label to those prefixes.

Conditions:
When at first the ASBR works as PE too, it has the VRF configuration.

Remove the VRF from configuration (but didn't remove vrf from router bgp configuration) would cause the problem.
