Cisco Bug: CSCup36857 - Inconsistentcy in the case sensitivity across the "Call Routing" pages

Last Modified

Mar 16, 2017

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

10.5(1.98000.97)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Inconsistentcy in the case sensitivity across the "Call Routing" pages

Conditions:
This issue has been escalated from Jira : CMUI-743

Go to:
Call Routing > Call Park and add a new call park number as "5xx"("x" being in lower case) and save it.
It will automatically convert the case to upper case as "5XX" and
save it without throwing any error message.

Whereas,
 If we go to:
Call Routing > Directory Number and select a DN and add the value for "Forward Busy Internal"
as "5xx""("x" being in lower case) and save it then it will throw an error message as "x" is not in
upper case.

This inconsistency should be removed.
