Last Modified

Jul 29, 2015

Products (1)

  • Cisco ONS 15454 Series Multiservice Provisioning Platforms

Known Affected Releases

9.605

Description (partial)

Symptom:
RSVP signaling failure due to packet forwarded on incorrect interface

Conditions:
Node with only a single RSVP next hop reachable only via the directly connected pdcc interface and default gateway on the LAN interface.

If the pdcc goes in DOWN state, RSVP packets are routed on the LAN interface (and dropped).
When the pdcc interface is UP again, RSVP packets continues to be routed on the LAN interface as VxWorks cache the output interface of the last packet sent on a raw socket causing the RSVP signaling failure.
