Description (partial)

Symptom:
GUI and XML API requests time out.

The following message is seen in the GUI: "Unparseable backend response: Failed to retrieve data. Right click on tree node to reload data."

The following message is returned to the XML API: "REQUEST TIMEDOUT"

Messages similar to the following will be found in the service-reg, resource-mgr, and policy-mgr DME log files. If this message does not appear, then there is likely a different issue.

Fixed in Prime Network Services Controller 3.2.1d.

Conditions:
This problem occurs when Prime Network Services Controller manages a large number of VSG and ASA 1000V firewalls.
