Description (partial)

An error message like the following may be displayed when configuring a
new interface:

%IDBINDEX_SYNC-3-IDBINDEX_LINK: Driver for IDB type '96' changed the Identity of interface "Loopback100" without deleting the old Identity first (rc=5) -Process= "Exec", ipl= 0, pid= 458

This symptom has been observed in Cisco IOS Releases 15.4(2)S and later
when performing the following sequence of steps on a dual-RP system:

1. The command <CmdBold>monitor peer bfd local interface<noCmdBold> or
    <CmdBold>ip local interface<noCmdBold> is configured on a pseudowire
    class, template, or pseudowire interface.

2. The specified interface is subsequently removed using the
    <CmdBold>no interface<noCmdBold> command.

3. Stateful switchover (SSO) is performed to the standby router processor.

4. The interface that had been removed is added back to the configuration
    using the <CmdBold>interface<noCmdBold> command.
