Symptom: The port-channel service crashes after running for a long time. The following type of syslog messages are logged and a core file is produced. %SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "port-channel" (PID 3467) hasn't caught signal 6 (core will be saved). %CALLHOME-2-EVENT: SW_CRASH port-channel in slot 7 crashed with crash type : stateful crash switch# show cores Module Instance Process-name PID ------ -------- --------------- -------- 7 1 port-channel 3348 Conditions: This issue only occurs when port channels are configured. A small memory leak occurs each time a 'show run' command is executed leading to the service crashing after many such commands. The service is automatically restarted nondisruptively.
