Description (partial)

Symptom:
The port-channel service crashes after running for a long time. The following type of syslog messages are logged and a core file is produced.

%SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "port-channel" (PID 3467) hasn't caught signal 6 (core will be saved).
%CALLHOME-2-EVENT: SW_CRASH port-channel in slot 7 crashed with crash type : stateful crash

  switch# show cores
  Module Instance Process-name PID
  ------ -------- --------------- --------
  7 1 port-channel 3348

Conditions:
This issue only occurs when port channels are configured. A small memory leak occurs each time a 'show run' command is executed leading to the service crashing after many such commands. The service is automatically restarted nondisruptively.
