Description (partial)
Symptom: Using 7821, 7841, 7861 phones along with the Always Use Prime Line service parameter set to True, answering calls on lines other than Line 1 may result in the call being put on hold. This occurs when the 78xx user does the following. (example) - Incoming call on Line 2 - User picks up handset and presses Line 2 immediately after (almost at the same time) - The phone triggers an off hook event on Line 1 because of Always Use Prime Line, and then answers the incoming call on Line 2 - If the two events are close together, after answering the call on Line 2, the phone will switch back to focus on Line 1 as the active call, therefore placing the Line 2 call on hold immediately Conditions: - Always use Prime Line : True - Handset offhook event and Line button press are close together
